The State of Florida has laws in place to ensure that the residents of Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities are well cared for and treated with dignity. Unfortunately, proper care is not always the case. Many residents become injured, or fall into poor health, due to neglect, or intentional abuse, at the Nursing Home. There are many situations where the residents are not treated properly.
